Administrative Solicitor Service- Practical Use in Cases
Legal locate
Verifying registered address of contractor, debtor, etc. to anyone client is legally entitled to claim. Supply us subject name in Japanese (or name in Roman letters and subject date of birth) and address. Change of address will be shown in acquired household registration record. Client is required to present legal evidence(s) to Administrative Solicitor. Samples are IOU, agreement, subpoena, summons, claim letters etc.
Heir Verification
Verifying birth, adoption, marriage, divorce and death of Japanese citizen and locating living heirs. Administrative Solicitor's work is to obtain related family registries, verifying heirs, and locating current registered address of living heirs. Requirement to obtain family registry (Koseki) is permanent domicile and name of registry head, the information is found in household registration record. Client is required to present legal evidence(s) to Administrative Solicitor. Samples are birth certificate, marriage certificate, will, agreement, property record etc.
Insurance Claims
Foreign insurance adjusters/legal professionals may need certain documents of insurant died in Japan. Administrative Solicitor is required to obtain authorization letter from insurantʼs immediate family for death certificate, medical record (or doctorʼs summary) issued by hospital and funeral certificate from institution. Some hospitals require using their own format for authorization letter. Hospitals do not issue document without the letter because of Act on the Protection of Personal Information and Doctor's Association house rule. If insurance beneficiary and immediate family is same and resides in Japan, insurance company should notice the person that Administrative Solicitor will work for him/her.
